Webpage Quality Checklist (2025 Edition)
This checklist helps review whether your webpage communicates clearly, attracts the right audience, and supports conversion.
Use it as a practical guide when reviewing your own site or a client’s.
1. First Impression
• Is the homepage visually clear and inviting?
• Can visitors tell within seconds what you do and who it’s for?
• Is navigation simple and obvious?
2. Audience Fit
• Does the page make clear who your offer is for and who it’s not for?
• If you have multiple options or tiers, is there an easy way to compare or choose?
3. Offer Clarity
• Is the main offer obvious and distraction-free?
• Is there one clear call to action?
• Does the page include relevant social proof such as testimonials or results?
• Are all decision-making details visible without needing to hunt for them?
4. Contact and Next Step
• Is there a simple way to reach you if a visitor has questions?
• After a form submission or purchase, does the thank-you page explain the next step clearly (e.g., confirmation, video message, or follow-up instructions)?
5. Discovery and Qualification
• If you use an application or survey, does it only ask for the information truly needed to qualify or assist a prospect?
• Is the process easy to complete on both desktop and mobile?
6. Visual and Technical Elements
• Is key information and your main call-to-action visible above the fold?
• Is the layout mobile responsive?
• Do videos or links open within your own site rather than sending people away?
• Are load times fast and images optimised?
7. Conversion Integrity
• Does the copy focus on the visitor’s needs and outcome?
• Does it outline a simple plan or next step to help them decide?
• Are expectations and scope of your offer clearly defined so people know what is and isn’t included?
